Under the pressure of the press rolls, the felt absorbs and removes approximately 60%-70% of the moisture from the wet paper sheet through capillary action, significantly reducing steam consumption in the drying section; the felt also supports the extremely weak wet paper sheet, allowing it to pass smoothly through the press zone and preventing breakage; and it “irons” the paper surface, improving paper smoothness and appearance quality.

The felt provided by Leizhan has extremely high tensile strength and minimal elongation and shrinkage. This felt is not easily torn or broken under high tension and high load conditions, has good stiffness, and is not easily creased, effectively reducing and eliminating felt marks, groove marks, blind hole marks, vacuum marks, and other imperfections.
